I have an idea but not very feasible. Using top tier of 3feet X 1.5feet X 1.5 feet wrought iron stand (2 tier) as TV console. Any better suggestion? Of course the top tier will need to place some wood planks to place DVD player or Home theater system.

1.5feet is just nice as 45cm depth as a TV console.

you must consider the height of the TV as the same level as your eye when sitting down?
or else it quite difficult to enjoy yr viewing of TV.

TV will be placed on a height of 60cm and above. No so bad i guess. Most TV consoles are about 40 to 50cm.

I'm confused. Are you putting both the TV and the home theater system on the top most tier?

Not a good idea if you ask me. First off, the wrought iron stand will start rusting over time. Second, it seems weird to be used for a TV console. Will probably require some modifications to make it look nice. It can work however, but the TV must be able to fit within the confines of the 4 legs. Getting a nicely made wooden TV console might be a better idea aesthetically, and structurally.
