hi , your plants are emerge or submerge? the plants you have are submerge type...if you leave them to dry out, the will die.. You have to constantly keep them wet.
Hi,
I just setup a Vivarium 2 weeks ago as 50:50 land/ water setting and used the following plant on my land side -
- Anubias barteri var nana
- mini java ferm
- mini bolbitis
- java moss
- hc cuba
I mist the plant once in morning and once at night...
I notice that some of the nana leafs start turning yellowish...
the mini bolbitis and mini java ferm star turning black...
Can anyone tell me how to safe the plant?
Btw I do have some BW planted fertilizer left and I'm thinking is it ok to mix the fertilizer with water and mist to the plant?
Thanks

I am not PERFECT but I am LIMITED EDITION !!!BIG Tank comes with BIG Responsibility...as they makan a lot of $$....lol
I do not think that it is due to the lack of nutrients, but of humidity. My paludarium, I use a cover to keep the humidity in the tank.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he will drink beer while getting sunburnt.
Hi i only know Nanais/java fern ok if turn yellow-ish, they growing still check fourm or MAC. Should be ok, unless your light really so bad low demand Nana & Java fern can die.
bolbitis i not sure, sound to me like very hard plant. Maybe ask the senior-senior masters![]()
