    Pls help to sex these 2 juvenile ap juruensis.
    Need to confirm whether I have a sneaker.
    2nd and 3rd pic is the same fish.

    On a side note, possible to diffentiate juru n black chin at juvenile age?

    2 and 3 looks female.

    I think you're right. It got pretty hassled by the bigger male today. I had to move it to another tank.

    If i cant tell them apart from similar looking fishes, i tend to look whether the apisto looks fierce enough for a male.
    Some males tends to have the "grumpy face" n slightly thinner face.
    Females will sport the smaller rounder face and body ,with a less "grumpy " but cuter face!
