



Hi, can anyone share from their experience are pregnant shrimps weaker and more prone to deaths during pregnancy? Any special care to take note?
after a week of artificial hatching
how can i tell if the eggs are still alive or dead?

remove those that are unlikely to hatch(without eyes) as they will rot and fungus will start to grow and caused problem for the other eggs.




Those that have already turned light brown should be good for hatching. The darker patch in the middle you will have to remove them. As well as a few dark ones here and there.. You should be good to go!

another 10 hatched today, total count 24
and i saw 1 of the egg(arrowed) hatched into shrimplet
balance left with 8 eggs, i think have to wait another 2 weeks before this batch will hatch
