those hatched egg are around 3 weeks old, and yet they need another 2 weeks+ before developing into shrimplets
the left over eggs should be less than 2 weeks old, i think it will take at least a month before they will hatch, hopefully
Told you at least will have 20...hehe
Erm, those last 8 no eye spots...are you sure they're still alive?

wouldn't be successful without your help
three cheers for you AQ bros

must the eggs be moving inside the mesh?
I did it and the eggs are like moving around. Does that means the current too big?
In a stainless steel strainer with rainbar on top. will i damage the eggs?
i make use of the 3 rainbar outlet
the eggs are surfing

Hi everyone. This morning jux found the mama crs die. Sad. I separate the eggs Le. Running them under 5 rainbar outlet. Is it a mux to keep them surfing? Cox I nv see the eggs surfing.

Congratulations dnsfpl, although I agree with Navanod, the remaining eggs may not be developing, but it's good to try any way. Miracles can happen.
devil_xiaozhu, As long as there is proper oxygenation and water flow through the eggs, they should survive. Please refrain from using SMS lingo on the forums.![]()
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.

So the main thing is to let the eggs mOve around? To simulate the movement at a mamas belly? In hatching these eggs?

Some slight movement is necessary but not crucial. The mother shrimps are basically dislodging dirt and helping to "clean" the eggs whenever they move their legs that the eggs are attached to. In doing so it also helps to increase the water flow through them. A gentle tumbling motion is best, because if it too strong, the eggs may not make it.

summarize of this project
all of my "less than 10 days" old eggs turned moldy
upon comparing the pictures, there is no obvious development for the past 2 weeks
success rate greatly increase after the "slightly orange"(estimated 10 days old) stage
cheers
spotted more than 10 shrimplets, and 2 of them are all white
