    Some of my KK turned greenish/greyish. I don't understand why. I got from different sources yet the different sources' batches still have some that lose color after a few weeks.

    yes ,what i mean isn't that your water is bad..just that it is a little not suitable for those that faded.. crs and kks have a slight differing preferance in terms of water parameters( do notice that you are keeping kks and crs in the same tank)..
    although there exist a range of parameters whereby both crs and kk will be able to share..
