    Hi,

Going to start a small 1ft tank for my office desk. What kind of filter should i be using. Tank will have 5cm depth of soil. With some moss for a crs tank. Am rather partial to have more space for bio filtering.

    Re: filter for small tank

Hi If I'm building a mini 1ft by 1ft by 1 ft vivarium with about 9 litres of water (less than half full water) for FBN, would the eden 501 or Shiruba 303 be sufficient?

With regard to the aquacompact, no doubt filtering will be awesome. but IMO for a nano vivarium, space is already a constraint, and trying to high or disguise this will surely be difficult?
