Nope, although its Aquazonic 12000K color is white instead of bluish, it is still does not contain red wavelength that plants needed.

When using Aquazonic 12000K, all my plants never pearl (my HC couldn't even grow properly). But when I changed to Odyssea 6500K, they pearl & grow like mad.

I hav continue to use the 2x18W 12K light but change the variable by putting in a 6 fan coil (evil) on a 40x40x40 tank. Increase co2 4 bps and using the filter outlet to circulate the co2. The moss was brownish in the 1st 2 weeks but mark improvement achieved by increasing co2 bps from 1 to 4. I m not sure it turns green becos of co2 or like some bros say, the fern is now adapting to the water conditions n tank variables. My little analysis. Just fix the coil yesterdY n update u if I see significant in fern growth with lower temp. Lighting variable remains the same. Dun feel like spending $ at the moment. Cheers.

what is a 6 fan coil? btw, moss slower when in conditions it has not adjusted to.. also good to know moss growth in cooler water pleases more folks.
IMHO, 12k is just spending more and getting less.
