    Re: 1.5 ft tank

    Hello,

Yup foreground plant is staurogyne. Initially had APP but didnt have much success with it. For the flora, I have the java moss on driftwood, staurogyne on foreground, cabomba at the back, some riccia stuck to the moss (riccia is not tied. it is just entangled in the fronds of the moss and grows), spikey moss just behind the driftwood (not fully grown out on the coconut shell yet), blyxa japonica and e tennellus at the background in the right.

As for fauna, there are 2 puffers to eat snails, lots of shrimps including malayan shrimps, fire red shrimps and yamato shrimps and 12 jumbo cardinal tetras.

Exact size of tank is 45*30*30. Temperature is 27 degrees usually. Temperature is lowered using a standing fan that I put beside the tank 24/7. Lights are 2*T5 18W. Filter is a hang on back Eheim filter. CO2 is 2 bubbles per second? Lighting period is 4h with 2h break all day i.e. 4 2 4 2 4 2 4 2. Fertilization is alternate days using Seachem Potassium, Nitrogen and Iron.

    Thanks for the comments!
