Will it be there permanently? What event was going on that made this tank the focus point of the shop. Besides, where is katong Mall? was it at katong shopping center or roxy square.

wow awesome .. calling it 'wet dream come true' .. keke

It's a new opened mall. Some shops are open. This tank is own by the shopping mall, not by any shops. I think it's near an ice cream stall and the ice cream is very nice![]()

This scale of tank mostly is by GC

Huge cool looking tank. Any fish inside? or still in cycling stage?
Hopefully this will refresh the interest on Aquascaping in Singapore

Saw lots of neon tetras, harlequins and others inside. Nice tank.
More than ONE fish = Fish
More than ONE species of fish = Fishes
Saw some dead rummies also on Friday... probably will clear it already. School of neon tetras looks good. Don't see any Co2 so all mid-low tech plants.
Really kudos to the mall in putting this in place. Haven't seen planted tanks of these scale before.

Hi guys,
yes, the 2 tanks are done by us.
There are CO2 injections, although look unlikely with the low cabinets due to unique requirement.
Some fish problems due to the heavy works surrounding the aquarium prior opening. However, it cannot be opened without fishes, so we added some, thus casualties. Fishes will be added gradually after water problems solved to avoid further problems.

Great job on attempting this!
Yeah, still quite dusty when I visited. Store owners still cleaning up. I guess rushing the opening for Christmas. Casualties compared to number of fishes in tank quite minimal. Looking forward to see it mature...... eh... got setup pics? Or trade secret.![]()

the setup is awesome. kudos to the people who made it happen.
Awesome tank GC! Question, how big must the sump tank be to support such a huge tank? I see Bags and bags of Powerhouse basic![]()

Sexy. Come on get some Harlequien Rasboras in there?

Jovel, the sump is very shallow at only 30cm!! We used 4 sumps inter-connected to serve the purpose. This is so that the entire tank fits nicely into view when you are seated. Growth of plants is expected to be slow as we are using sump, and pump cannot be overly huge.
|squee| , the smaller tank is supposed to have harlequin, chocolate gourami, pearl gourami (now in gc shop 5ft tank, waiting), barbs and other Asian fishes.
The big tank will have South american species.
Again, we are waiting for the white spot to tide over before we start adding more fishes.
