This mall is now called 112 katong. Awesome tanks. Too bad they are used to partition eating outlets and you can't get close without patronising the stalls.

was there last week.. i find the scape repetitive.. 2 joint tank, and another separate tanks, all the same, maybe it;s what the owner wants...

Really jawdropping to see the giant tank at 112 Katong last weekend.
Think i spent 20-30 mins looking at one of the smaller tank before getting a drink beside the bigger tank...

I guess sometimes, less is more. Having too many type of species may overwhelm the 'zen'. I could see the neon tetra lining up nicely in one string, very nice to see until they are chased by the aggressive territorial angels.

Can spend long time with small tank as the shop beside it is not yet opened. I spent a long time with the small tank too. I asked for permission with waitress at hong kong dessert store to view big tank as there were no customers. 10 mins later all seats beside big tanks were filled as I walked by again.

Do you have any fixed schedule when you drop by 112 katong to either feed the fishes or maintain the tanks. Will certainly be interesting to observe. Thanks !

    |squee| , the smaller tank is supposed to have harlequin, chocolate gourami, pearl gourami (now in gc shop 5ft tank, waiting), barbs and other Asian fishes.
The big tank will have South american species.

Again, we are waiting for the white spot to tide over before we start adding more fishes.
