    Work in progress.

Looking for something to cover the back right. Probably some E. Uruguaynesis. That is if I manage to find them.

    Tenullus will be in front

Just checking, by putting the rain bar below the water level, will the turbulence is lesser than putting it above the level? Will you be tying moss or fissiden to the driftwood and bogwood?

if the rain bar is higher than water level, there will be CO2 loss. The turbulence is definitely lesser since there is less gravity.

nah, wont be tying things. I dont have good luck with tied plants on wood in this tank. algae seems to take over.

    one week later.

    added otos and yamatoes.

    8 lighting hours of 24 watts x 2 T5

Dosing based on gut feel. 40% water change every Sunday, pinch of KNO3 twice a week, 10 drops of micros twice a week, and a pinch of PO4 once a week.

Some of the narrow leaf ferns don't seem to do well, turning brown at the edges. This was because I switched on 3x 24 watts for some days. Will stick to 2x24 watts for the moment.

about 6 weeks since the project started. The bolbitis has turned dark while the jave fern has grow leaflets, which is not very nice IMO.

Water temp. Or too much water change? Or maybe have to start with new leaves.

Things filling up. Transferred some ferns from the office tank. Willow moss on wood, Bolbitis not doing well. Baby ferns jutting out from my main narrow leaf fern, still not nice, but I have got no time to figure out a solution. Otherwise, things are growing out nicely except a bald patch where the tennullus does not seem to want to grow.

substrate is ADA so it should not be a base issue. Im guessing its because that's the spot where the outflow strikes and is also the spot where sunlight is blocked by the plants above.

Nice scape there bro... The patch where the tennellus won't grow is due to the light most probably... As I had the same experience before... The part which receive lots of light grew new shoot whitin 3 days...

    Updated.

Crypts seem to be over growing in the front left. I added 6 rainbow fish as well as fixed my Eheim double tap.

Will wait another few more weeks before deciding the trimming process

Very nice progress. May I ask where you purchased your narrow leaf Java fern from? And were they loose rhizomes or attached to wood/rocks?

    Re: Work In progress

The crypts melted suddenly, all of them. I have changed my eheim cannister to a hang on because there was air trapped, causing a lack of flow and BBA.

The narrow leaf ferns are doing well. I bought the narrow leaf fern from a fellow forummer as well as from Clementi.
