My Hornwort grows like this .. anyone has the same way?

Ok here it goes .. the hornwort lucasjiang gave to me grows like this .. long and a few stem churning out , the ones i saw online looks similiar, floating

After I put in my tank , for a less than a month. it grew in this way, submerged.

Every 2-4 stems, it will grow a bud and another sprout came out fast and dense in a erect position. reaching for the light.

hmm my text art is not bad

but anyway just asking if any one has this similar 'runner' growing , I add something to the tank ..hmm

You should use space. Will make you an NFO artist haha.

Never seen exactly like that, only have alot growing one side very little on the other.

The thread default will cancel many empty space and align the letter to the left.. so I didnt know how to by pass

but any way on a closer look , it grew even more dense than my illustration
For every 1-3 stem, it grew a vertical sprout instead of 2-4 .. like a glosso

There is no roots unlike glossy right.

yes alan , about 20 to 10
but considerably slow together with alot of floaters.

too much floaters no good hor. it will prevent normal air exchange on the water surface.

yap understood , passing on the floaters out soon, they all grow new sprouts too, I scoop some out on shallow water to see if they propagate easier

Hornwort will change form depending on the water conditions. In cool water, the ones I saw grew thick floating mats that were very green in color. In warmer water the side branches will be further spaced apart. The color of the hornwort was much paler in warmer conditions.
