Which Eheim classic for a 2ft?

My Atman is now 4 years old and the flowrate is terrible. So I'm looking to change to an Eheim filter (finally!). Thing is, which is which?

Am I right?

I'm looking to get a 2215 or 2213. Any users of the 2215 on 2ft tanks here?
Also, what's the price range I can expect if I buy the 2213/2215 filter together with those double taps?

Bro, without connecting to a chiller, a 2213 will do the job fine for a 2x1x1.

2215 is too much? Because I like high flow. The Atman I have is rated at Qmax 960L/H (which is probably about the same as the 2215 considering it's a max value) so I'd like to match that.

Then It is okay to have a 2215. Tomorrow you can try colourful. 2215(without double taps and media) at $90.

I have 2 2ft tanks, one using 2215 the other one using 2213. For me it depend on the scape. I will use 2213 for iwagumi scape, foreground and rocks only. I will use 2215 if my scape full of tall plants.

Another thing, the Classic range doesn't have filter compartments for easy handling of media? It seems like the media is just stacked on top of one another.

Hey people! I am thinkin of gettin a eheim canister 2222 or 2224 for a

2ft x 1ft x 1.5ft/2ft tank.

Its for my fire red shrimp.

What do you guys think? Is the fast flow rate bad for my shrimp?

I dont know. I thought pro is a better version than classic.

actually depend on preference, I don't dare to say that pro worst than classic. I personally preferred Classic series because of the simple design, not many part, thus less wear and tear issue. Also it is easy to repair if necessary.

Anyway, I got my 2215 (old version). Fine looking industrial design. But the metal clasps look fragile.

A priming function is a knob on the filter that you can press in order to get water into the filter so that it can start running properly.
