    if you notice ada super jet filter, is a replica of classic design, only disadvantages i guess is only it doesn't have taps

    I would say the priming function is just a added feature, not a must have.
    Once you get use to starting up the classic a few times, it will
    become a straight forward and simple step. For me,the one that you must have is the double tap. Really save you from messing up the place.

    So does the new version comes with basket? But even if it doesn't is no big isdue either. Can always use those coarse sponge or fine fibre mess to partition the seperate media.
    Where is the new version made in? My good old 7 years old classic is made in Germany.

    Just get a filter bag for each media. Its only around $2 each

    yep the filterbag or basket will help alot during maintenance..as in you can pull everything out one shot and rinse under tank water (after water change)...
