I guess this is part and parcel of buy/sell stuff in forum and everywhere else in the world.
Small amount of money involve still ok ,at the most give that guy drink coffee, take is as the friendship cost this much.
Getting poison everyday
Have give the reputation to the seller?
It will be much more useful there.
IMHO, and not defending chris in anyway, he is a nice person, and i have traded with him a few times personally. I feel that there might really be some issues or problems with the suppliers, or perhaps even other factors which causes things like this to happen. - It could easily be proven with his iTrader rating too.
Then again, i would also sympathize with how the buyer, being an enthutisastic hobbyist will feel due to the dragging and delaying, of the undelivered promise.
I hope this thread will not be like others who are used to target at any individual, but instead a learning point for us, be it buyer or seller, that certain situation can occur, and how do we deal with it.
Been awhile since i last kept shrimps/ fishes, please give me your kind guidance!
Personally i do not know marle or chris, never traded with them before, so i am not on anyone's side.
In this case, the delivery being messed up and kept on delaying and delaying. Anyone would be frustrated and request for refund. If the seller treasure his reputation, he should be smart to refund marle immediately ( given it's only 95 small amount according to the seller sms ), instead of trying to wait and wait.
Online seller must treasure their reputation lah. Else next time who will dare to buy from you ??
Not going to add on or defending myself... As what marle had posted. Still a reminder to all don't approach anyone other then the merchant for orders. If not end up you may think that you get scam...

Being a buyer, the anxiety of anticipating new fish arrival is understandable. I thought Bro Marle was not dismay about the money but the delays.
Bro Chris168 do have good iTrade reputation and am sure Bro Marle have had checked on it before placing orders with him.
I had met both Bros and dealed on separate occasions. Both are nice persons and since this has become a thread now, perhaps Chris can shed some light on what happened.
Marc from what you had started the thread i believe is not because you want the others to take note of. Is the unhappiness you are with me.
Do not need any light or chances buy any Moderator. I did no wrong.
Banned me out from hereNot because i am guilty. I am sick of it. Bro's that had my number keep in contacts... Lastly a very good forum to learn your knowledge from.

Chris, its not about banning you. As a reseller, you said you will deliver the products on a particular date yet time and again it was delayed. I also had to chase you for the money back after you agreed to return on a particular date.
Additionally, i hope you can see from a purchaser point of view. How am i to know if you really placed the orders for the fish?
As a hobbyist/purchaser myself, I paid you and i just want my fish. Yet, i had to deal with all these disappointments.
You claimed you ordered about 30 pairs of fish, i don't want my fellow forum members to have to go through what i did ordering from you. This is why i posted this up.

Marle & Chris.
In the end supplier didn't deliver?
From marle point not wrong to want fish he already paid for.
Chris, if supplier is not 1st dealing with you can have some mutual trust. Else if this source you are getting from not worth unless the bros and you all know the fish worth the time taken to deliver is worth.
If really point 2 is the case, maybe make clear next time. Maybe can order based on 7 day terms payment.
Btw, if you have not received fish nor refund from supplier. Suggest you let known supplier so others can learn. I believe marle feel so too.
Very personal note.
I'm hobbyist in a hobby that is not flourishing. Losing one more hobbyist is very sad even when it is not directly the same.

I have since smsed Chris168 to ask who the supplier is. I was told it was Ah Kiang.
Does anyone know who Ah Kiang is? Has anyone else had any experience dealing with Ah Kiang?
I mean, if Chris, you did pay a down-payment for the fishes to this Ah Kiang, and Ah Kiang did not deliver the fishes, you are also a victim. Please shed some light on this supplier.

Dear all, I think some of you may thought that i get con by my supplier... Let me make it clear my supplier only delay my shipment... Been dealing with him multiple times... At times there is delay.
But shipment still arrives.
Thanks Marc for the concern i think you had over look about the problem.
When a habit begins to cost money, it's called a hobby.
Consolidation of large order do result in delayed shipment so as to minimize logistics costs and buying in larger quantity like what Chris did helps also to obtain better fish prices.
Marle might not have known Chris operandi modus hence reacted out of concern that fellow members might went through the same.
Both have good intentions. Both are young adults in the same hobby. Chill bros.
If you are buying from a person who intends to get live fish through the mail - don't. They will be seized by Customs and probably destroyed without proper import papers.
In this case, the person who took the orders should ensure that the fish arrive through the proper channels, and in good shape. If there are any that are dead on arrival, the loss should be covered 50/50 by both parties. If there is a problem at the source side, inform the buyers ASAP or they will get anxious over any delays. On the part of the buyer, if you made an order, you are taking the risk of non-delivery (deaths, missing shipment, etc.) pending any issues with the supplier. Accepting and therefore understanding this point helps to avoid any misunderstanding. This is to be fair to all parties.
Getting emotional and threatening police action over a botched fish order is the last thing anyone wants to do. We're all in this hobby together. Let's not get all worked up. Meet for coffee, discuss and work things out like men.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
Personally i feel that as a supplier, is about being responsible for other people contribution and payment. If you have promised the person and u accepted their request, you should keep to it and make it happen. If you are not confident, then should just sort it up asap. Everyone will get impatience and frustrated if they cannot get what they want when they make their contribution.
Enough has been said, let's hope they've settled their differences. And on that note, to the lock bin this thread goes.
