I tried with christmas moss. the result was when the ricca grows too big, it will still pull away and float it.
Anyone tried this method before?

They used slower growing hairgrass and javamoss to trap riccia under water. Since the java moss and hairgrass will grow as well, thus they entangle and prevent the growing riccia from floating off.
