Depends on which plants you refering to. Some plants just need light to substain although will not grow very well but wont die.

But most require at least some form of intensity and temperature to survive.

Many factors to consider if planting like Substrate , fertilizer , water condition , temperature , light intensity , lighting hours , water flow , Co2 and plants eating fish not forgeting clumsy fish which will accidently disturb the substrate exposing the roots when you least expected.

mine aquarium plant are the very basic 1 no light very long time den slowly rot/ turn brown ~

so the bulb ok or not ? the bulb it about 60 watt+

Your picture already have the name on it. Anubias , such plants cannot plant inside substrate , over time the rhizome will eventually rot. Get a driftwood and tie on to it. As for light,it require low light requirement so should be ok as its a hardy plant.

this one is anubias bateri. NEVER plant into the substrate. it will die. Tie to a DW or rock
