Today is the seventh day of my tank cycling. I bought a test kit. Measuring ph 6.4, ammonia 4.0ppm, nitrite 0ppm and nitrate 10ppm. Is this normal? After testing, i add in rock, new plant, drift wood and stuff. Is this okay? Im using ada new soil. Going to keep fire red shrimp in it.

You need to get ammonia and nitrite to 0. Looks like your bacteria for ammonia isn't established yet, which is why its still 4.0ppm.

Yep, when ammonia and nitrite readings both read 0, it means your tank is cycled. Do increase aeration, increase the temperature and turn off the lights to speed up the cycling process. Cheers!
