Bro, its better to use gH drip test kits to see whats the problem. Ph of 6.9 is okay for fire red.
If possible, test the kH too.

Hi all.
Just now when I was observing my tank, I saw one of the cherry try to moult but was unsuccessful with almost all the old shell still stuck to the shrimp only the "feelers" part's transparent shell can be seen dangling).
Previously, i saw a piece of moulted shell with a slight red tint to it at some areas (probably some of the new shell came off together).
Is this the case of high or low gh? any idea how to remedy this problem?
ph: 6.9 (Will fulvic grain help to reduce the ph?)

Bro if you can FTS for all the all bird to see maybe they can advise also get a good test kits for GH and KH remember to check the expiry date on the test kit.

Where do you all normally get your test kits? When i go LFS the test kits i see are always very old looking one.

west side you can try C328 = polyart, clementi flourist
east side I think you can try aqua empire or yishun 618 or yishun central aquastar or seaview
Just check the packing below i think most of them temp a date under the box or was it beside. Box might look old but the expiry date it the one you need to look at.
