no, most likely the fishes are unable to handle the water condition in your tank. secondary u did too much cleaning on the media causing the batercia unable to work

Oh this is real sad. there was a time when I change the tank of my guppy water with new water. Was so crystal clear but smell of strong chlorine.. In the end, all got WIPE out.. Many were seen grasping for air....

I went to the shop yesterday find out that their guppies many were sick one plus many dead fish at the btm now i can confirm must be the sick fishes wipe out my tank...
