Maybe you want to try www.ava.gov.sg
Hi bro's,
This particular question is for bro's in Singapore.
A friend of mine is in Singapore now. He is so kind to bring back some shrimps for me. Only if this is allowed for law and regulations.
Crystal reds ( prl) are no endangered specie. Do you still have to inform the boarder desk?
Can someone help me out with information?
I researched it for the Netherlands and it is all possible without further paperwork.
Thanks in advance bro's
Mike

from Singapore to Netherlands or Netherlands to Singapore? It should not be a problem bring in to Singapore as long as small number but if to Netherlands then you need to check your side.
Hi,
Its from singapore to the netherlands. Importing to the netherlands is no problemo.
I just want to know if it is a problem to export out of singapore.

Contact AVA and ask if it's possible to bring out small quantities of the live shrimp on a personal basis and not for commercial reasons. They should have no problems with this as long as the shrimp are in the check-in cargo I think. A friend of mine brought back some fish and shrimps to India in breather bags packed in a small styrofoam box in his luggage. Did not face any issues at Customs but just to be safe, get an official reply. On the AVA site it states that the license costs $350 but not sure if that is only applicable to a company or farm, or for personal use.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
hello,
i had no problems with Singapore customs, i manage to bring my livestock back to japan.
japan customs also did not have any issues with that.
it is better to check with your country customs instead but since u already mentioned no issue, i believe all is fine.

Hi..Just hope this help.
1) You may want to find those courier service like fedex, UPS etc and ask them. They do send live stock overseas.
2) You need to check with the Netherland,if i am not wrong, they do need health certificate. You need to apply from AVA.
Cheers.

Hi bro's
Just received the email from AVA.
They say it is allowed to transport OUT of Singapore with a max of 30 pc. And a max water volume of 3 litres. This all should be packed in de checkin luggage and not in the handluggage.
So, im pretty satisfied!
When exceeding this limit you need a permit and this can only obtained through commercial stores.
Thank you all for helping out
Mike
