Use tds up by mosura or you can just cycle the tank longer
Hi Bros
Have just started a new 2ft tank, future occupants will be CRS.
Tank set up with mosura old seamud as base, benibachi black soil, shizen and BT9
Tank is undergoing cycling for 5th day with 2 pc of us fissiden on DW, have measured the water parameters
PH - 6.1
TDS - 72 (tap water measured 73)
Ammonia - 0.5ppm
Nitrite - 0ppm
Nitrate - 10ppm
GH - 4
KH - 2
Temp - 26.5 (will decrease when CRS are added)
Have done research on past threads and are considering using mosura TDS up. Any seniors can advice when the TDS reach the desired level, do i need to remove the mosura TDS up from the tank??
Or is there other better ways to safely up the TDS to 150-200 ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi all
Just a little update, bought a pack of mosura TDS UP in the afternoon. Realise it actually dissolve in water.
Poured 200ml of tank water into a glass container and added in a teaspoon of mosura TDS up, just measured the TDS reading and it reads 3010ppm.
This is powerful stuff, will start to adjust tank TDS level by adding in 5ml step by step.
Bro magpie and Bro xconnect thanks for the advice.
Nah just helping fellow shrimpers
