First thing first, make sure the driftwood is sinkable. If not, you will have hard time after tying finish ur driftwood

Just layer the us fissiden on the side of the large drift wood which is facing upwards. I will suggest that you ties them in sections of 5cm.

Ties a dead knot first using a fine fishing line and make sure its tight, then layer the us fissiden as neatly and close as possible. Do the looping for 5 cm section at a time.

Get a water sprayer filled with tank water to keep the us fissiden moist.

Most of all, have alot of patience.

    Re: tieing us fisidden

    Hi Bro

Just to share, when tying fissiden on DW always remember to keep them wet/moist. As the process might take some time, this will keep them from drying up and at the some time prevent them from falling off the DW. A spray bottle can help to achieve this.

Spread out the loose fissiden, position them piece by piece on the DW and remember to place them in one direction (either vertical or horizontal) this will help to achieve even growth. lastly will be to tied them up.

Large mesh can be tricky as the tying up of string tend to cause the mesh to bend/fold and this might cause the fissiden to loose up. But it is possible as i have seen others do it before.

Lastly, you need lots of patience.
