    Hi,

You can get a brush that have flexible metal lining. Or you can get a ordinary brush and attach a nylon fishing line to it.

Works like wonder. I try it before.

    Cheers....

I wet a piece of tissue and insert it into the hose. Then, connect it to the tap and the water pressure will push the tissue out from the other end, together with all the rubbish that is in the hose.

Just a word of caution. Some plastics/rubber are adversely affected by bleach. Some plastics/rubber may hardened or become brittle due to prolong exposure to bleach.

Cut a piece of filter sponge/Dish washing Green wool slightly larger then the hose. Compress and force it into the hose. Attached the stuff end to the tap and ON TAP FULL POWER! everything all come out! Do any number of times until you satisfy with result...

Market selling hose cleaning kit, cost a bomb, bleach and hose like bad chemistry leh, hot water cleaning too troublesome, use of anti algae solution??? Finally stuff a few life oto into the hose and wait a few days to eat up the algae.

If the hose is still dirty after repeated cleaning, buy a new one.[]

    Cleaning Brushes

    Hi all,

Manage to search thru a very very old thread, cause i just want to share my new cleaning brushes that i just used. Very effective, and now much easier to clean those rubber tubes.

Bought them at a hardware+kitchen shop near Joo Chiat, pretty cheap too, about SGD$3-4, if i dont recall wrongly.
