    HI,

Just to share my recent 422 IOS setup (no underflow). Customize by TankJunction, IOS compartments designed by myself so that the media is fully submerged to minimize the CO2 loss.

    Specs:
    422 IOS
    2300 L/hr Maxi-jet pump
Pressurized CO2 (UP inline diffuser - that explains mist on the photos)
    4X 54W T5HO
    ADA Amazonia II
JBL base fert, Mr Aqua Laterite fert, specially on the area near red lotus.
    Sudo bottom sand

I Just started to dose using EI method about 3 weeks ago as I noticed some Potassium deficiency on the staurogyne. Currently dosing CaNO3, KH2PO4, Seachem Potassium and Micro supplements.

    Flora:
    Blyxa japonica
    Staurogyne Repens (foreground)
    Nymphaea rubra (red lotus)
    Hydrocotyle verticillata
    Cryptocoryne wendtii "Tropica"
US fissidens tied on bogwood and coconut husks
plus the 2 plants in the background which I forgot the Id.

    Fauna:
    Wild Peruvian Scalare
    Bleeding heart tetra
    Apistogramma - Maulbruter, Atahualpa
Corydora - Loxozonus, Orange Laser, Atropersonatus
Few Otto, Nerite snails and Yamato

Future plans would be to re-do the US fissidens on the bogwood as it didnt really do well and probably attach some christmas moss on the tip of the bogwood to make it more "tree-like". Also, to add few rummy nose to school, though I must say the bleeding heart tetra is already an excellent schooler! I will definitely add some Cory Eques and another pair of apisto.

    Thanks for viewing.

    Nice and neat setup bro

My opinion will be since you have that type of tree trunk like dw, why not place some pebbles to add contrast to the dw. With the pebbles, you can plant some japonica/E tenellus/Staurogyne Repens in between the pebbles to have a natural looking trunk underwater. Since you have success in growing these plants from the start, you might wanna try glosso or HC cuba to replace some foreground plants.

    Just a suggestion

    Very neat.
Where do you get the "flexible" acrylic divider and get it into the curve and angle you want?
I always thought acrylic are quite rigit.

They are the normal acrylic sheet which I bought from Artsfriend.
I cut them around 1.5 inches wide and applied heat (from gas stove) to be easily bent. Then silicon them together to hold firmly.
