    This is my office sulawesi tank simple setup.... soo far candinal has been around for 3 mths, and now berried... waiting to see if I can get fries.

    (Note : those taken on pics are not the berried one)

    I personally prefers Sulawesi tank substrate to be of sand.

    Sorri bro.... nothing wrong with yr eye sight!! LOL... itis me.... actually took afew shots, but only this overall shot of the tank manage to load.... there other pics of the shrimps didnt make it.. and I had to rush out of office... thus.. got no time to manage the thread.

    Will try again tomolo.. hopefully can share pics of the shrimp.. which is difficult to capture in the first place... *chuckle*

    Yes... I like that too.. but this was the first set up a few mths back and then wasnt sure it they survive... now that I'm more confidence.... will try out sand base one soon

    Does your office have aircon?
    Just wondering because i thought sulewesi shrimps cant be kept in temperatures < 28 deg.

    Yes... my office has air-conditioning running 24x7.... thats why I have diff tanks around.. hahaha (almost can showroom alrdy, but too bad,.. we are not good scaper!!, jus simple hobbies)

    For the sulawesi tank.. I put a heater set at 31 deg. Cheers!

    Well... that is true for home environment..but becos my office air-con is 'on' 24x7.. so.. i need to set the heater at 31 so that the overall temp will be around 29.

    Believe it or not.. those are not sand but shrimp soil... forgotten which brand.

    Yes.. I saw 1 fry yesterday! But there are at least 2 berried mummies.... soooo... not sure if all have been release... and how many survive....

    Welll.. I not sure abt offloading them at this stage as I dont know how many I have....sooo..... wait and see how. Thanks for interest, will keep you in mind.

    I actually keep a spare tank... such that I keep the PH and TDS as close to the main tank. As there are no livestock, the water condition would be considered very clean.

    How do you keep your other tank to have the same ph and tds though?
