Are PL lights just Philips lights?
So I just go look for Philips lights with higher wattage? Does it have PL written on it? the box? or watever...
The light kit I bought came with crappy lights, I think it become not as bright as the first day I bought it (2 days ago). I think my plants also isn't photosyntesizing well cos I don't see the leaves bubbling like yesterday.
I currently have 3 tubes for my 2ft tank all with individual switches so I can turn off when the light is too excessive.
So where do I buy this PL tube? cost??

FYI, I have two 2ft tank in my office and I use 1 x 36w PL on each tank. They work fine.
When we use the term 'PL' here, we are not referring to the Philips brand specifically. The generic usage refers to compact fluorescent (CF) aka power compacts (PC). CF and PC are terms used widely on some foreign websites/forums.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
I've just saw soem tubes in soem hardware shop, notice they are 2-pin and different from FLs.
How do i convert my FL holders so I can put in PLs?

The FL holders have to be replaced. See the links posted in this thread http://www.aquaticquotient.com/phpbb...ic.php?t=14725 for ideas.----------------
