Here's a short clip of a young pair of Apistogramma elizabethae with fry. Fry is about a week old.

Did you add the bird and rain sounds as effect?

Haha ya the background sound from the TV was too noisy so I removed it and changed to the sound effects.
This pair were actually bred from a F1 pair so the fry are F3 already. This is their 2nd successful spawn.

Thank you. Yes the fascinating parenting behaviour is something I'll never get tired of. I can spend a long time in front of the tank watching the female bring her brood around.

I believe some of the other members here are breeding this species too. You might want to post a WTB thread in the marketplace. The 2 batches of fry I have currently from this pair are too young to be sexed.

I completely agree. Especially when the fry school tightly in a ball next to their mother. Very fascinating to watch.
