    Hi,

I just bought a pot of Rotala sp. Green and I found that the tip of the leaves are brown black..is it because of plant disease or nutrient deficiency. Just want to make sure that I am not introducing plant disease to my existing plants. These rotala are still in my Quarantine tank. Thanks.

Is it emersed form? Just wait for the new leaves to grow. It also could have been exposed to air for too long if submersed form.

Most likely adapting and allow it sometimes for the new leaves to grow out. How many leaves like that? All or partial?

It is an easy plant, under bright light can ensure faster and compact growth.

I would say 80% of the available leaves per stalk. I had already removed all those leaves and planted them into my tank. Thanks for the response.
