    Hi guys, I know there is a sticky regarding this topic. I've read through it and went to a local fish shop, however I'm still unable to differientiate when I see them live. I want to get a male so i can get my female sakuras to spawn.

    Any advise on this?

    Male shrimps looks more streamline. Female will have bigger body and the back between head and body will have yellow saddle.

    Ok another noob question. Does female really need to spawn with males?

    Yes, they do need to mate in order to have offsprings.

    only lizards and i think snails can asexual reproduce
