From the long dorsal, its either uberis or burdigala. No white tips on pelvic fins. Irids visible by translucent pattern on dorsal and caudal. Red base colour. Most likely burdigala. Haha.

Maybe you can update the fish in 1 month's time, and take its picture in its proper tank..
At the moment, it does look like Betta burdigala la....

Yup I do have the female still. I can't garuntee that it will breed though. But I'll try to do what I can. But right now, you need to focus on bringing it back to good health. It's current state needs a lot of tending to. >.<
