I might want to start a 3ft tank with mainly Anubias. I would like to know what would be sufficent amount of Excel to put in to maintain 10 mg/l of Carbon? Anyone any ideas?

PS: Water changes 30% every 2 weeks.

For Flourish Excel, you simply follow the dosing instructions on the label. I have used it with my low light tank contain Java Fern, Anubius and moss with great results.

For my 10g Anubias biotope I added 1 capful of Excel every week. I had 2x 13 watt PC bulbs over it.

    You can see it here:

You would probably have luck with 1 cap two or three times a week depending on your lighting.

Err... for me it's not a 3-ft... just a 5 gal mini tank. I think it's gonna cost you a bomb to sustain a 3-footer using Excel.[]

Well, for results wise, I think Excel is great.
