Partition the tank if you can, and place the demasoni in a partition by themselves. I believe they are not getting their fair share of food. If you don't want the yellows to keep breeding, just separate the males from the females.
I have a tank of about 19- 20+ cichilds. 8 blue demasoni, 8 yellow cichilds, 4 brown tropheus and 1 frontosa... and a bunch of 10+ fries.. ( my yellow chcihilds is very fertile !!)
The yellow cichilds have grown to almost 3 times the size that i have bought them few mths back. But the demasoni is not able to grow...
I need advise on how to make my demasoni grow larger and the yellow cichilds not to grow too big and keep giving birth...... ( i have 2 more pregnant yellow cichild and 10+ fries while writing this..)
