Look neat simple and nice bro... Really a low tech and free chiller in the office by the air-con...

Maybe can add a small tiger lotus plant to add in some colour to the planting....

Thanks bro. The pine tree and carpet that I made took up all available footprint in this pico space so can't add lotus as it will grow too big.

I have a better idea i.e. add more CRS to give it more colour heehee...

Hahaha... Had that idea and executed it 2 years ago. Check out this super low maintenance tank that is near my crs tank.

Super pico size, no filter, no water change, no fert. Only weekly water top up. Not even cleaning of glass needed as it is done by my horned nerite snail (you can see how clean the glass is).

2 year old spiky moss that was originally tied to a small DW but grew to take over 3/4 of the super pico tank. Used some of it to make the carpet of my CRS tank .

All moss you see in both tank are spiky moss.

Yup! No filter. Started with 4 cherry shrimp and now more than 30+++ inside originally no worries on bioload, now over population so... Luckily the overgrown moss helped balance the eco system.

Not sure which shrimp tank you referring to.

For the 2 years old tank cherry setup, it was immediately after adding some old gex soil from my existing 2ft shrimp tank at home and with bacterlife liquid added, I put the shrimps in. No casualties.

For the new CRS IQ3, I added ADA bacter-green, mosura old sea mud and bacterlife liquid, some old water from existing tank, I added the shrimps within 3-4 days of run-in. No casualties so far after 2-3 weeks. Note that the pine tree was an old creation relocated from my old 2ft shrimp tank at home, so that may have carried some good stuff along

Some updates. BDS have breed inside the tank. Look at the contrast in size between the baby and adult during feeding time

Yes, in IQ3. Besides the baby BDS, I just found that I have baby crs in the same tank as well Although the count is few.

It is placed on my office table so I managed to go without chiller.
