still learning the hard way!!
I saw KH2PO4 at NA ( Balestier ). Cant remember pricing though
I have since migrated to using controlled release fert. I use a cheap one bought from Woon Leng meant for orchids. Stuff a few prills into the substrate weeks apart and have since stop water column fertilisation. It works for me. If brand is your thing, try osmocote plus. It comes with TE. And you can get it from Wendell. Not cheap, IMO.
Before venturing into other types of slow/controlled release fert (not all prills are make equal), made sure you know the implication of where the N is derived; the fert analysis and period.
Learning the hardway, not the highway.

Yes, i've use osmocote plus in my tank. I've a 2 kg bottle for my terrestial and i use it for the tank too. I've used non-branded slow release without te and they work too. One big dose can last months. Makes the hobby more enjoyable.
It is inevitable for some prills to make their way to the surface of the sub, especially when you keep loaches. In the beginning, i push them into the sub using the tip of a long stick but nowadays i just leave it. Nothing adverse has happened.
There is alot written about it and how they are used in tanks too. Go google.
