    Hi Bro,

I have just started my planted tank for 3 weeks. Everything seems fine except the Aponogeton ulvaceus & vallisneria spiralis, some of the old leaves are brownish.

Thought of starting to add the bove products :
Would like to find out any bro is using the above products, please share your experience on how good are they? As according to them that it will not promote algae growth.

What are your saying about the above products?

    Cheers, merry christmas.....
    Cheers

Good but expensive is the word for the products...
Will not promote algae? That largely depends on the user itself though...a bad user can rear an algae farm no matter what he or she uses though.

Personally, I would rather you use hydroponic chemicals which are cheap, flexible to use and last a long time. Unless you have deep pockets and money to burn go the hydroponics chemical way. KNO3, K2SO4 and KH2PO4 is all the chemcials you need other than the regular traces (TMG or flourish..).

    Hi Bro Peter,

    Thanks for the response.

    hydroponics chemical way.

KNO3, - Question : What does this promote?

K2SO4 - Question : Is this for Potassium?

and KH2PO4 - Question : What is this for?

is all the chemcials you need other than the regular traces (TMG or flourish..) - Question : are you saying that micronutrients are not necessary??

Hope you can enlighthen me more? How about to adding iron content?

    Many thanks in advance.
    Cheers

KNO3 as a source of nitrogen for plant growth/mass.
    K2SO4 as potassium
    KH2PO4 as phosphate
    Traces aka micro-nutrients...iron included.

The key to good plant growth is basically to supply all the plants needs and make sure they don't run out. Light, CO2 and nutrients.
