    I saw it in Y618 last week. They also have the normal kind which is grey colour. Used to be a very cheap fish at 20cts a piece, now it is higher price.

    The white version is this variant. It only shows the golden color when in good condition.

    Oh, is it? I thought the golden variant is a special color? So you meant the white one will turn golden in good condition & light?

    Yes that's what I'm saying. There are 3 forms of the White Cloud for sale. The normal type, long-finned type and this "golden" type, which is just a xanthic form. See this video of a shop in the UK offering the "albino" variety, when it is just the golden form:

    In the video you will see the golden form with some paler goldens among them (the white you mentioned), along with the normal type.
