    hi there everyone,

as the title states i'm a newbie aka blur sotong. i just upgraded from manual to solenoid i.e. one gauge to two gauges = blur....

jus wanna ask u all a quick one. from the image below can any1 pls tell me which gauge is the 'tank pressure gauge' and which is the 'pressure output gauge'?

what are the levels on these gauges that I should aim for? when i bought the solenoid thingy the shopkeeper told me to aim for "not more than 40 on the left gauge if not the valve will be spoilt.." i've been having quite a BIG problem trying to adjust to this.... everytime i turn the main valve just a bit the left gauge will straight away shoot to 1000. anyone care to elaborate a bit more pls? *blur*

any help will be very much appreciated....

    thanks in advance

the scale on the left measures the pressure inside the tank whereas the right hand side scale measures the pressure at the output (ie valve).

My left scale is at 1000, no problem till now... the right hand needle will sometimes move up and down the scale... i'm not sure why also. Maybe someone can correct me if i'm wrong and elaborate more

Ha Ha Ha...which screwed shop you went to....
An old man bluffing a blur man??

    Follow this...
    1. Slowly turn on the Main valve.
    2. As soon as the left gauge needle move, turn another quater turn...this is just a small precaution(not important)...in case you need to shut it off quickly. This is a common practice, as long as the CO2 is going through, open the valve any bigger is meaningless.
    3. If your Tank is full, the left gauge will read ~1000PSI. Don't border to try achieving less than 40PSI..You got misled..get it?

The point is, you don't get to control it, you can only turn the main valve on and switch the solenoid on and off.

Just write enough to clear the 'BLUFF'
Please do a search for detail..been discussed before.
