new here..but definitely not new to aquariums..was active in another "fanatical" forum during my previous stint..have stopped my planted tanks for about 3 yrs or so..
shifted into my own house, and i wanna start my planted tank again (cant get it out of my system!)
1st step : buy a new 3ft tank + cabinet which is whats troubling me now..
serangoon north is a pale shadow of its former glory..dont have much tank sets on display anymore...
Balestier NA : selling a lot nanotanks now..
blk 22 havelock rd : all either china-made or local siliconed tanks..
c328 : havent visit..will visit soon..
anyone can recommend me any place which i can do to for relatively high quality seamless tanks that preferably comes with cabinets?
juwel got edges and comes with internal filter & heater(which i wont use)...
ADA damn expensive...
Dennerle seems like only got small tanks..ditto sera,eheim and dynax...
so can anyone advise where to go for wide variety of tanks + cabinets?
if i cant get a set, i will probably have to buy the tank & get a cabinet..if thats the case, where can i custom make a cabinet for aquarium use?

hi and welcome.
most farm lots have a lot of tanks. Seaview, OTF for example. but I would say mostly are china or local siliconed tanks.
There are a number of tank makers that are available and well known. you can get the tank and cabinet from them. custom sized custom fit, better than buying them seperately. Do a search for them in the commercial market. to name a few, N30, Tank Junction... Most come with warranty.

But i guess the local manufacturers only have the siliconed tanks right?

Seen quite a few yesterday while walking around..but usually PRC ones...
The good ones are all small 1-2footers...
Maybe you can try tropical fish international at pasir ris farmway... They have lots of cabinet tank...

Will take a look at these 2 places...although a have a feel they deal mostly with local tanks....
correct me as i may be wrong, I always thought that these curve glass is not pure glass? that was the reason why i said i never saw round cornered glass tanks. :X
anyway, i believe most curve glass tanks are all china brands mostly, especially from 'Jin Long'.

Just wondering why do you like curve edge? I personally don't like curve edge because the tank view is distorted whenever you see it from the edge

Yeah I guess personal preference. I take tank photo for competition and for curve edge tank, anything near the edge will be distorted.
Actually. If we calculate the distorted part of the curve tank. The blind part of the curve tank would be more than the blind part of a square tank

you will have about 1.5cm from both side, that based on my 20cm tank, bigger tanks maybe have more. My ADA tank practically 0 cm
The ADA 60P look very nice but very expensive too and I seldom see people using this tank for shrimps.
haha ya. For my 2months later rack. I doing 1 planted 1 3 partition Shrimp rack. So 1 ADA tank, 1 custom made tank lor.
