If I'm not wrong the 3 pictures showed the same shrimp pregnant?

I'm using a soilless setup as well. The difference between you and me are that I'm using inert sand while you bare tank.
In general, I do not agree with your defination of success. Having 1 pregnant shrimp that is.
If I'm not wrong, I believe you setup your tank before me, and purchase shrimps from tony(veggie). It's been around 2 months and this is your first pregnant shrimp. I do not think its very successful. Secondly, what you do not know for sure still, is 1. Whether the mama will kick eggs? 2. The egg will be successfully hatched? 3. Will tw shrimplets grow into adults eventually?
IMO, I would only deem an setup successful only if there is a growing population and the setup is able to maintain these large populations.
    Just my 3 cents.

    Congrats Bruce.
Section 1 pass.... Your try quite good but far from complete right? When the shrimplets grow up and have berried then you will have much more shoik.

That is a lot of work to do wc by dripping method. I just change 20-30% at 1 time. And even within this short period of wc, very often i will get distracted and I will forgot to off the tap, and water overflow and in the end become 40-50% wc. Scary... Haha
And lastly, I need to mop the floor after that, very pissed with myself. Haha
