    Hi mnfazyze,

I'm also very new to planted tank but from my little experience, it depends on what kind of plants that you want to grow. Some plants can grow nicely on a nana while some needs to be planted into the soil/fertilizer so that the roots will grow. Planting on the sands does not really help much.

But i think most important of all, you need to have sunlight or light source for the plants and also make sure the plants is free from snails. Snails really damages the plants. Hope these little info helps. =)

Please explain to me what is nana?Right now i grow them with sands for 4 months now.Dont even give the plants supplements, but just put Tension Gon and Discus Solution each time i do water changes each 3 days or a week.
My plants seem a bit yellowish.Maybe the temperature is too high about 32-33celcius.Then after maintain it at 30-31 celcius everything keeps getting better now.
Yeah,i hate those little buggers, the other day i forgot to check for snail eggs on the new plant i bought and they hatched in the tank.Removed them each time i saw these newborn little buggers. Now there is none.
