    New shrimps in Singapore



    Known as tangerine tiger, yellow bee or yellow tiger. This is not yellow shrimps belong to genus neocaridina but caridina !

    Very nice!

    In the forum that's shown in the picture.. there is a great debate on the Aura Blues too.. some say that they are a blue variant of this shrimp!

    Also yes, this will cross with the CRS though not readily. Meaning to say that you have to 'force' them to cross.. keep only males of one species and females of the other.

    Also not to be mistaken by the name.. this isn't actually a Tiger shrimp (Caridina Cantonensis).. it's a Caridina Serrata

    wow new yellow shrimps..so can i assume the parameters they require should be similar to crs?

    Yes, they may breed with Crs, interesting, any shrimps that can breed with crs, thats to say same family with crs will win popularity of Japanese. And like it or not, this will lead the shrimp trend.

    I hope someone will bring in soon to satisfy all your itch. Just words of cautions, do not mistaken yellow shrimps as this species. I was told a seller was trying to pass off blue rili, the one commonly found in Singapore as Aura Blue to unwary buyers
