Ahhhh oh well
There are pacu in quite a few ponds and other water features in our parks, and if I'm not wrong, they're also stocked in the fishing pond at Pasir Ris, which has quite a large variety of monster fish.

I'm not sure about them eating children, although I'm sure they're capable of removing fingers. I'm more concerned about the pacu that supposedly bite off the testicles of men, as seen in an episode of River Monsters.
Small is beautiful.
They have crushing teeth which gives them a formidable bite. I think one of the pacu species is already established here, at least in one reservoir. Would not be surprised if people found them elsewhere by now.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
Tgey are harmless ba i think. Herbivoir in nature. Every living thing is harmless unless provoked.
They are not full herbivores, but omnivorous in diet, but I agree, they are not aggressive unless provoked.

out of topic -
I haven't seen those sizes at Farmway 3 for a LONG time. those pictures look at least 2~3 years back, when they only had one wavemaker.
To me, most fishes are opportunistic, if they see something like food, behaves like food, "munch munch"! to my knowledge, yes, they are omnivores but more inclined to carnivores especially when their usual "nut" supply is low.. when I caught them at farmway 3, I was either using live bait or liver. (again, out of topic.)
