Nice looking fish. I read that they are territorial and aggressive, so probably need to choose their tank mates carefully to avoid some casuatlies.
Spotted 4 juveniles at C328. Quite cute. This genus will pop out once in a while in the market.
"This genus includes only one known species.
Ctenops are ambush predators with mouths that can open surprisingly wide.They need to be kept in LARGE tanks with a lot of varied hiding places for dominated fish. These hunters from India and Bangladesh do best in large groups.
They are delicate, a fact complicated by the bulk and size (4 inches{10cm}) of the animals."
