I recently got some Ramshorn snails from a kind bro, and i put some in a small tank with ghost shrimps while pondering over whether to throw into my main tank..

Some of you guys may already know this, but I noticed that ghost shrimps actually eat the ramshorns..and cleaned out all the flesh leaving behind a very nice translucent shell...

    Worth a try??

Ghost shrimps are a tad too aggressive for tanks with other shrimps?

might be aggressive, although from my observation they only seem to snatch the food from the other shrimps and then run away with their loot, never seen them attack other shrimps. anyway they are still scavengers so i don't think they will actively seek out snails unless one happens to be nearby...well its just a thought for sharing...

The ghosts will kill smaller shrimp, just like they did with the snails. Do not underestimate these Palaemonetes shrimp.

    100% agree.
They will nipped at fish if they can get hold of it!!!

Many of you will think the fish will be too fast.
The thing is they hunt them at night where the fish can't see that well.

Hmm probably i have not kept them for as long as you guys, but i have never seen them have a go at any fishes or shrimps in my small tank...

shall observe them for a longer period and then will make my conclusions...
