Fan look around the forum buy/sell part. Alot of bro selling of their fan.
Thermometer. Cheapest i see was $3 at lfs. But last time I bought 1 back home. not working one. I think LFS got cheap ones already. Unless you thinking of $1 per product lol.

Depending on how small your tank is, I think a fan might not even be a good idea since the amount of evaporation resulting from the installation of a fan would do more harm than good. If your small tank is at least 1ft, then you can consider getting the smallest sized fans from any LFS. I have personally used one from Dymax and found it to be of good quality and does the job well. It is however, a little noisy.

With regards to the thermometer, I am pretty sure Gex has a very small one that can fit in almost any tank. Otherwise, you can also get a digital thermometer (popular ones from Dymax) that has a small probe which can be immersed within the tank and does not take up alot of space.

The above 2 items can be easily gotten from C328, Polyart or GC (maybe not the fan, but thermometer they should have) if you prefer the west or Y934 or Y618 if you stay in the north. If you have an LFS near your home, you should also check them out. Those items are very easy to find and should be readily available in most LFS.

    Good luck and happy shrimping!

If you're on budget, you can buy the fan at a few dollars only. You can try Seaview or buy pre-owned from the brothers here.
For thermometer, you can also get from Daiso. They fish / DIY section has got the small thermometer with a rubber sucker at the top, meant for you to stick onto the fish tank.

Hello hello, welcome to shrimp-keeping! For fans, do get the ones with concealed blades, ie inside the casing. I've been very impressed with the Dymax one I picked up from Seaview. However, do note that they probably only cool up to 3 degrees on a dry day, although that is often enough. Also, do not underestimate evaporation's effect on the tank, it can really wreck your parameters. Get some plants to help with that!

Can't help you with the fan, but i know Seaview is selling Dymax thermometers at $1.60 each, but note that its not the most aesthetically pleasing piece around, its bigger than the $3 ones from other brands (also at Seaview) and yellow in colour...
