small worm in my shrimp tank

i saw small worm in my shrimp tank. and other thing is i just having a baby shrimp in the same tank.
i read from some website that the worm is from uneaten food. is it true?
will the worm effect my baby shrimp?
how do i remove those worms from my tank?
