Styrofaom sheeting to put under a tank - where to get in Singapore?

Hi all,

This may seem ridiculously simple but I'm stumped.

Where can one buy styrofoam sheeting, of the kind that you put under a tank before you set it on a stand,shelf,etc.?

I haven't seen them in any LFS around me, and Spotlight in Plaza Singapura won't answer the phone.

Help anyone?

Have you tried checking with lfs? I do know they seldom want to display.
Likewise, you can consider yogamat as I've seen afew use them

I have seen it at popoular bookstore, what they have is in one standard size.

Any bookstore will have it, but usually in 1 size. You have to cut it on your own to fit your specifications. Easiest to cut it with a heated knife. LFS should sell these too but some don't carry it because not everyone thinks it's necessary. The problem with these styrofoam boards is that they will slowly give off a whitish dust-like substance if it comes into contact daily with moisture. I usually wrapped my boards with cling wrap to prevent this slow disintegration.

The use of a rubber mat or yoga mat can work but if the stand itself is not balanced, nothing you add will cushion the tank against the imbalance.

I went to popular bookstore today on Marine Parade, and they had two different sizes in two different thicknesses, one of which was just a tad longer than and the correct width for my tank. Perfect!
