Turbo CO2 reactor and 2028 question

I have a Eheim 2028 connected to a Turbo CO2 reactor (one that forces the CO2 bubbles into a small hole and get diffused into very tiny ones). I guess it is because of the pressure, everytime I turn on the filter (after some maintanance), it leaks a little.

    Anyone here experienced that?

    Thanks.

Thank you Tawauboy for your reply.

What I meant was that water leaked out of the canister filter but only during the impact of water pressure when the filter was turned on. It did not happen before until I installed the reactor/diffusor. Any idea what's the reason?

PS. Your nick tawauboy. Are you from Tawau, Sabah? (Just curious)

How old is your filter ? If more than 2 yrs, its a good idea to change the O-ring. That's the only part of my Eheim that I changed on a regular basis.

The O ring is the seal between the motor part and the container part of the filter. It is a black color rubber.

Just checked with a lfs. The O-ring for 2028 is $23.
